The Shattered Eye — Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and AM Soft SH.P.K. ("we", "us"), NIPT M67611801A, Tirana, Albania, who make The Shattered Eye ("the game"). By playing, you accept them. We wrote them to be read.

Who can play

  • You must be at least 13. If you are younger than the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
  • One person, one account. Keep your sign-in safe: what happens on your account is your responsibility.

Your account

  • You need an account to play: with an email and password, Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
  • You choose your name in the game. It must not be rude or hateful, pretend to be someone else, or contain personal details (such as a phone number). We may give a name that breaks this rule a plain one.
  • You can delete your account at any time: in the game (Settings → Account → Delete account) or at https://theshatteredeye.com/delete-account.

Crystals and other items

  • Crystals, Alloy and the game's other currencies and items are a licence to use them in the game. They are not money: they have no value outside the game, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be sold or given to other players.
  • Everything you can buy can also be earned by playing.
  • We may change how items work to keep the game balanced. If we ever close the game, we will tell you in the game at least 30 days before.

Purchases

  • Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play, under their rules.
  • What you buy is delivered to your account. If something is missing, use Settings → Restore purchases, or write to us.
  • Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

Ads

The game shows ads from Google AdMob. "Remove Ads" removes the ads between battles; the ads you choose to watch for a reward stay, always by your choice.

Playing fair, playing nice

You agree not to:

  • cheat, use bugs to win, or change the game, its files or its connection to our servers;
  • use bots, scripts or any other automation;
  • harass, threaten or insult other players, or choose names that do;
  • sell or share accounts, or buy or sell items or places on the boards outside the game;
  • attack or overload our servers, or try to get into them.

If you break these rules, we may remove your results from the boards, take back what was won by cheating, give your name a plain one, and close your account for a while or for good. In serious cases we act at once; otherwise we tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.

The month's boards

The boards and their rewards (Crystals) are part of the game. We check the results and may remove those that could not have been made fairly. The rewards are the ones the game shows, and they may change from month to month.

Our game

The game, its art, music, story and code belong to AM Soft SH.P.K. You may share screenshots and videos of your games, including in streams and videos that earn money, as long as you do not present them as official.

The game as it is

We work to keep the game running and fair, but it comes "as it is": it may have bugs, be down for maintenance, or change. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. When a change matters, the game tells you before it takes effect; if you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania, and the courts of Tirana decide disputes. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of your own country's law and may go to its courts.
